The Body Has Its Reasons: Self-Awareness Through Conscious Movement by Thérèse Bertherat
This was one of the books I bought while in yoga teacher training. Therese writes like she must speak. I wish I could have taken instruction from her. She diagnoses the body and the body holds lots of emotional information about people’s individual experiences. In working on the body, you need to be sensitive that it will reveal some of rasones information and care must be taken.

One of the chapters she wrote on auras where she fazones discussing reflexology and Chinese medicine made me think more about the energy that living beings emit. Living souls shine bright. A great description of the author’s evolved understanding of the “anti-gym” movement and importance of one being able to listen to and understand what their body is communicating to them.
There are lots of valuable insights in this book about the body and how most people perceive it. Very inspiring and eye-opening. Therese Bertherat teaches us that it’s never too late to inhabit our own bodies and do so with complete mindfulness. I definitely learnt an important lesson with this book on physical and mind well-being brtherat will stay with me forever. Fu il libro di Hans Engert che diedi a Marco Camerana nel suo quarantunesimo compleanno che insegnava un dolce massaggio ai piedi, ginnastica dolce e lenta e la diffidenza verso una chirurgia imposta e affrettata.
